  1. What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? We have over 30 years of experience, with lots of acres available to play, as well as being centralized in Phoenix.

  2. What is the experience customers can expect? Again with over 30 years of combined experience we have the best and the most experienced staff in AZ with one goal: To make the customer have the best time possible.

  3. What was the inspiration to start or run this business? As avid player for 25 years, I have made some of my best friends in this sport, as well as I have had some of the best times in my life. I wanted to share the experience with friends and loved ones, as well as making the best field in the state.

  4. What do you love most about your job? Making great memories.

  5. What should I wear?

    Loose fitting, comfortable clothing is best. We recommend long sleeves and baggie pants or jeans. Since you are on your feet a lot of the time, wearing a good pair of shoes is important. You should wear shoes that provide ankle protection and also have decent cushioning. Please do not wear sandals and high heels for paintballing.

  6. What should I bring?

    AZ BATTLE ZONE offers everything you need for a great day of paintball. We also sell light refreshments such as drinks and chips but feel free to bring your own water and food. Make sure you bring extra cash to purchase snacks or paintballs, credit cards are accepted.

    What is the minimum age you must be to participate? 10 YEARS OLD

  7. Do we have to buy paint from you?

    YES AND NO

    Yes you must buy paint from the field if you are using our rental gear.

    No you do not have to buy field paint if you bring your own gear (paintball marker)

  8. What is a paintball and does it hurt when you get shot?

    How much a paintball hurts depends on how much padding you wear. Generally though, the thrill of the game will overshadow any pain that might be felt from a hit. A player can count on leaving the field with a few welts.

  11. What are Public Walk-On Sessions?

    Public Walk-On Sessions are game sessions that are designed to accommodate any number of players. When you arrive for a Public Walk-On session you and your friends will be mixed into a larger group of similarly skilled players which you will play with throughout the day. This means that beginners will only be playing against other beginners.

  12. A Public Walk-On Session is comparable to attending an amusement park where you ride the attractions with other guests. Staff Instructors are assigned to the group who act as supervisors and referees for the games and will be with your group all day long. Public Walk-On Sessions last all day long and you may come or go as you please.

  13. Do you host Private Groups / Birthday Parties?

    Of course we do. We have a number of small group and birthday party options ranging in size based on your needs.

    Private Group Reservations will not mix with other players as you and your friends will be playing on your own private playing fields. All of the information regarding our private events can be found at azbattlezone.com or call 602-686-1808 10 MIN PLAYERS

  14. I have a GroupOn / Play Pass / Voucher / Etc. How do I use it?

    Unless specifically stated on the pass itself, all of our vouchers are used for Public Walk-On Sessions and not Private Groups.

    Since a number of third-party organizations sell discount passes it is suggested to read all of the details printed on your pass to ensure you understand the restrictions and limitations on it. AZ BATTLE ZONE Paintball cannot be held responsible for any misinformation given to you by the distributor of the voucher.

  15. Will we playing with our self’s?

    If you are playing in one of Public Walk-On Sessions you and your friends will be mixed into a larger group session with other public players. You will be allowed to stay together on the same team as your friends, unless of course you prefer to be on opposite sides. The choice is yours.

    If you are playing in a Private Group Reservation then you will only be playing against the other members of your group and will never be against strangers.

  16. Is paint washable?

    Clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Paint is 100% washable. Looser clothing so you can move, run and jump. Long sleeve and pants. No open toe shoes. Please re-frame from wearing neon colors (orange, pink, lime etc…), neon colors are what our staff wears. Dress for the weather and to get dirty.
